God is Good + You are Good

Photo by Andre Furtado on Pexels.com

I am Happy, I am Healthy, I am Powerful, I am Abundant Right Now

You are the Thinker that Thinks the Thought that Thinks the Thing-Jonny Coleman Christ Universal Temple

Nothing or No one can affect my Good Mood. I am always having the experience of my oneness with God. God is Good all the Time. Thus, I am Good always everyday.

I am Happy, Healthy, Powerful, and Abundant Right Now. Nothing will interfere with this. I always have a choice and I choose God.

I give Love, I receive Love

I give Prosperity, I get prosperous

I Praise others, I am praised

Whatever I give to the Universe I receive it back to me multiplied by Seven. I do not give only to receive. I give so that others will see their own Light, Be happy and let them know God is always within them. And all things are working for their Good. God is Good all the Time.

I do not let lack or despair creep into me. I put myself into the Vortex of Good.

Lesson to get out of Lack. You’ll want to be creative with a steady stream of ideas and free flow of divine ideas. If you feel you are unwell in Mind Body or Spirit. Do something about it now! Some thoughts on what you can do now are:

Meditate, Pray, Exercise, Read affirmations, Chant. Give clothes, shoes or food to others. Do something now to feel better. Feeling best is good, but feeling better is where you want to be.

I am Happy, I am Healthy, I am Powerful and I am Abundant Right Now.

No one or nothing can change my grateful attitude. At times you may think others are upsetting you. But it is YOU who determine how you feel. You can not control others, You can not control what people say to you, You CAN decide how to receive and react to the world. Today, tomorrow and always. You have a choice. Decide right now to choose Good, Positive thoughts, feelings and Actions.

I gotta say it one more time. No One or nothing can affect your mood. Only YOU can affect your own mood. If someone berates you. Stay above it and don’t let it affect you. And don’t react either. Maybe take a deep breath or repeat an affirmation. I know it is hard to do, but it is possible, just takes some practice.

Stay strong and be all the Great you are meant to be. Step forward in your Power and Glory of your God/Christ Mind. Remember God is always Good, thus you are always Good.

It only takes one idea to change your life. Take time to think abundant ideas to help others and to help yourself. Think God thoughts. Think Good thoughts. No pity parties allowed.

Have a Great and Wonderful Day!

The above was written after week 6 of 12 in my class entitled Fear Not taught by Reverend Valerie McGee. I just stayed in the mood from the class and let my mind flow to produce the words on the paper. Thank You to Reverend Val and the Book Fear Not by Martha Smock.

Have a Positive, Powerful, Peaceful Day!

Everyday is a Go(o)d Day

I Dance in the Riches of all my Wishes

No Fear here, only Faith, Love and Good Cheer

Sweet Nectar of Joy fills my Soul, sour smell of stress does not exist

I’m on the right track, as I step forward Abundantly. Seeing no lack

I Declare Dominion and Authority upon my thoughts and feelings. Keeping the Kingdom wealthy with powerful words of Peace, Love and Happiness

Intention goes, where Energy flows. I send Praise and Good Will to all my Friends and Foes

As the day winds down, I count my blessings, I am Grateful for so many things, my list as vast as the Ocean

Sleeping Calmly to awaken Tomorrow with a Great Big Smile you can see for almost a Mile

Thank You Go(o)d

Challenges Come & Go

The Guest House by Rumi

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Sufi Mystic & Poet, Rumi wrote the Guest House all the way back in the 13th Century. Today it was on the Daily Calm 7/25/21. It reminds us that when challenges come our way, they will pass through and go away. Tomorrow is a Brand New Day. Actually your next moment in time is brand new, it’s up to you, to do what is needed to stay calm, centered and peaceful.

This past Friday, I was complaining to my spiritual teacher about some money issues. He actually got pretty pissed off, because of all that has been taught to me and reminded me to Meditate. (And never speak of lack, because our subconscious minds Don’t differentiate your positive or negative thoughts. So its best to think in abundance).

My instructions for the week were to meditate every evening for 3 minutes. I just did 3 days in a row at 2 x 12 minutes cycles per day. The meditation brings calm, peace and is good for overall health and wellness.

Rumi even goes on to tell us that some challenges, may just be stepping stones to bigger and better opportunities to come our way. Today’s challenge, will be tomorrows victory!

When things feel rough and tumble, take a moment and meditate. It may feel difficult at first, but the more you do it, the more peace meditation will provide.

Some Tips: The Daily Calm app provides a new meditation every day. It only takes 10-12 minutes. This app is my favorite. And it has an emergency SOS meditation, that I do when work feels like it’s too frantic and frustrating. I would recommend the Daily Calm App.

Or go on YouTube and choose a guided meditation. There are so many to choose from. Something for every challenge, difficulty or dilemma.

It’s in the silence that our best ideas are produced. There’s no right or wrong way to meditate. I would recommend to “Just Do It” Daily if you can. Don’t even worry about sitting perfectly or anything like that. Just close your eyes, listen and breathe.

I’m actually still a bit wound up from this past week and will stop writing and dial up another meditation. This time, my 2nd all time favorites-Yoga Nidra by Brenda Kwon. No matter how many house mates invade my brain, Yoga Nidra is a great go-to stress reliever. Try and do 20-45 minutes if you can. I guarantee Yoga Nidra will work. I even did it at the dentist one time and didnt even feel the new tooth being inserted into my mouth.

Yoga Nidra, The Daily Calm and even the quick and effective SOS will provide relief for whatever it is your mind thinks is happening. Remember, it is us that chooses our thoughts, not our boss, partner or surroundings. Give Meditation a try. Be Grateful to be alive. It’s a precious gift we are given.

Look for the Good

The NBA in Action on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Yesterday (1/18/21) NBA TV and TNT broadcasted five non-stop basketball games, to honor Martin Luther King Jr. throughout the day. It was a well deserved celebration of sports, human rights and yesterday & today’s culture.

The Story

The fifth game of day came down to the Los Angeles Lakers vs their arch rival, the Golden State Warriors. During the first half of the game and into the 3rd quarter, the Warriors super sharp shooter, Stephen Curry, could not make a three point basket. Well he did hit a few, but far less than usual.

The announcers kept saying Shooters Shoot, so Steph kept shooting the three’s. In the 4th quarter with just minutes to go, he hit a bomb of a three from way past the 3 point line-SWOOSH!. Then he dribbled down the court and missed an easy lay-up. Lakers got the ball one last time, but because of Steph’s three, they were still in the lead. Game ended with the Warriors winning 115-113 against the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers.

Look for the Good

It’s here after the game that we see how it can be a challenge to keep our minds positive and to look for the good. Steph Curry reluctantly jogged down to the post game interview. Looking bummed out, shaking his head back and forth, for sure upset with himself. The announcer said, I know that look, you missed the lay-up. Steph said Yep. BUT THEN, he said something very similar to this: Yep, I’m bummed I missed that..Oh, lets focus on the POSITIVE and RE-FRAME my answer. I did hit the long three Pointer and we won the game.

Just like you and I, professional Athletes don’t just play the physical game but the mental game. Steph Curry caught himself on National TV about to say something Negative and in the moment told us all, the Positive. Sometimes, things may not come out as planned, are not perfect or really do feel bad. Stop, Breathe, Re-Focus/Re-Frame your thoughts. And Look for the Good in every situation that may occur.

Stop, Breathe, Re-Focus/Re-Frame your thoughts. And Look for the Good in every Situation that may occur-Huna Das

It takes effort and persistent. And no one is perfect. If you Look for the Good most of the time. That’s quite alright. It’s just something to be aware of and to try your best.

It was pretty amazing watching the Look for the Good spiritual Soulution in action, on TV after a hard fought NBA Basketball Game.

As my Mom would say: Look for the Good and See the Miracles.

Have a Positive, Powerful, Peaceful Day!
